Thames Clipper - Boat Trip & Ideas

Thames Clipper gave us free tickets to ride the Clipper to help give us inspiration and possible insights for the brief. AS they wanted us to create a concept that would raise awareness about the career possibilities on the Thames. We took this opportunity to take lots of photographs that could be used to experiment with or used for final execution as we shot in RAW which meant we could photoshop them and improve them in Lightroom. Me and James shared the role as photographer as we took it in turns to shoot some shots from the back of the boat as we went from Greenwhich peninsula to Westminster and backdown.

We Pitched our three initial ideas to Brian and Xavi to help us think them through and to see which one was the strongest idea. At this point we had the beginning of an idea that eventually evolved and resulted into our final idea however it was initially the idea of what your hands can do. A tag line of these hands can do anything you put your mind too. However, the key feedback was " go an research about the thames, try and find out any myths or facts that can help give you an insight". I took this and spent the evening researching as much information about the River Thames as possible.

These are just some shots that we began to shortlist from the day of shooting and experiencing Thames Clipper for the first time.
