I chose to do my lesson: liquid advertising and to animate it in the style of Yaroslav Kononov. He is a motion graphic designer who's work inspired me to learn how to animate shapes, to look like liquid and to create a motion graphic on liquid advertising.

His portfolio can be found

I was mainly inspired by his simple gif of a boat sailing in the 3 lines. This gave me the idea of making different shapes fill with water as water changes to fit whatever shape it is in thus the iconography for liquid advertising as it graphically portrays the verbal meaning of the type of advertising - changes to the outcome of responses.

My first attempt was to create the boat in water and have it drag the text of liquid advertising but I found it was too boring and less engaging thus the decision to make this outcome as the fun simplistic music adds character to the video creating a short, sharp and snappy message.
